Amouage Opus V – Woods Symphony

Description

Eau de Parfum from The Library Collection by Amouage, launched 2011; the composition was later given the subtitle “Woods Symphony.” Perfumer: Jacques Cavallier. A universal fragrance, worn by anyone. Amouage classifies it as floral, amber and woody, and describes it this way: “The art of living is fragmented by the way knowledge and information travel on the internet. Opus V is a floral and woody fragrance inspired by the classical and modern methods of disseminating knowledge.” Powdery orris runs the length of the fragrance, with rum lifting the opening and agarwood, civet and a dry wood accord anchoring the base. The juice is at 24% oil concentration and is aged six weeks ? three weeks maceration, three weeks maturation.
