Perfume from Clive Christian’s Crown Collection, launched 2020. Unisex. 25% perfume concentration, built from 151 ingredients selected among the finest and rarest sources. The Crown Collection reimagines historic fragrances from the Crown Perfumery Company archives, which date back to 1872. Crab Apple Blossom is arguably the most famous of the Crown Perfumery’s products: first created in 1886 and inspired by the blossoming crab apple tree that grew outside the founder’s home in Kensington, London, it was selling more than half a million bottles a year by 1894. The modern rendition is a citrus aquatic. Apple blossom ? used here for the first time in a Clive Christian fragrance ? opens bright and energizing over marine bergamot; green rhubarb adds a fresh bittersweet note, like a step into a quintessentially English garden; creamy sandalwood enriched by aromatic driftwood carries the soft finish. Presented in a red jewel-toned bottle with a crown stopper.
