Eau de Parfum from Imaginary Authors, launched September 2024. Imaginary Authors is the work of founder and perfumer Josh Meyer. Unisex. Notes: leather saddle, tonka resin, saguaro blossom, Texas yellowstar, cumin, tumbleweed, Paso Fino. In the house’s usual conceit the scent is framed by an imaginary book by an imaginary author; the brand’s copy calls it “a love story born in the springs, waterfalls, and Indian Paintbrush covered fields of Texas Hill Country,” a classic western told through the lens of the new west. Luckyscent classifies the style as animalic, earthy, smoky, spicy and woody-spicy, and the brand describes it as rugged, spicy and adventurous.
