Eau de Parfum from State of Mind, the French niche perfume house based in Versailles that pairs the tea ceremony with perfumery, launched 2021. Perfumer: Karine Dubreuil- Sereni, with creative direction by Catherine Laskine-Balandina. Unisex. A woody aquatic. The house describes a green push of lime and hinoki opening into a clean, ozone-laden departure that slides into a wave of lotus and melon to soften the hesperidic edge, with Japanese gyokuro tea lending an algal, iodine quality. CaFleureBon describes it as a unique twist on the aquatic genre ? a vibrant neo-aquatic with fruitiness, evoking a relaxing day drinking tea by the sea. Presented in a 100 ml bottle with a crystal magnetic cap and a hot-gold-engraved Alfons Mucha logo. Made in France.
