Description

Eau de Parfum from Amouage, launched 2023. Perfumer: Quentin Bisch. Part of the Odyssey Collection, released in its third chapter, “Escape,” alongside Lineage, Search and Guidance; built around Omani royal frankincense at 20% oil concentration. Unisex. A dry, mineral woody- spicy scent ? Amouage describes it as “a vertical totem of mineral woods and stellar sparks of spice.” The opening is bright and peppery, bergamot cut with pimento heat and clean frankincense smoke, then the middle turns arid and stony as papyrus and sand vetiver take over. It closes soft and suede-like, saffron and akigalawood keeping a warm woody hum with the projection Amouage is known for.
