Perfume from Clive Christian’s Private Collection, launched 2017; the house lists it as V Amber Fougere. Masculine. 20% perfume concentration, built from a complexity of 221 fine ingredients. Clive Christian’s own description adds fir balsam, a trio of peppers, smoky vetiver and a warm amber base. A vibrant amber foug?re: zesty, peppery elemi opens it, a soft-but-primal white pepper runs through the heart, and hand-tapped Somali frankincense meets smoky vetiver over the contrasting warm amber base. Currently sold out on clivechristian.com; still listed at Neiman Marcus.
