The brand sells it as an Eau de Parfum at 20% essences and botanicals; some retailers, including Selfridges, label the same 100 ml bottle “perfume concentrate.” ” Goldfield & Banks calls it an olfactory imagining of the unscented Torch Ginger Lily and a world-first exploration of Australian Red Back Ginger, inspired by the Atherton Tablelands; CaFleureBon reports that the botanical is Alpinia caerulea, the Australian native ginger that flourishes around Dimitri Weber’s tropical summer residence, and that Weber set out to capture the bloom’s lush beauty. Reviewing it for CaFleureBon, Lauryn Beer described “a fresh, sparkling ginger cocktail that is fruity, dry, and so fizzy” ? neither overly sweet nor sharp.
