Description

Eau de parfum from Les Bains Guerbois. The house takes its name and its subject from the Bains Guerbois, the 19th-century Parisian bathhouse whose Belle Epoque regulars included Renoir and Proust; 1885 Bains Sulfureux is built to evoke the plant, herb and flower essences carried on the steam of its Turkish and Russian baths. The house lists zesty top notes of mandarin and bergamot with blackcurrant leaf and rosemary, a floral heart of orange blossom and jasmine, and a base of tonka, tolu, benzoin and incense with sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli, cashmere wood, labdanum and musk. Sold in 100 ml and 30 ml.
