Extrait de Parfum (25% concentration) from Pernoire, the Swiss niche house founded in 2020 by Nico Mannino and Robin D?nner and based in Basel. Launched 2022. Perfumer: Andreas Wilhelm. Part of the Anima Collection. Unisex. 50 ml. Named for Mansa Musa, ruler of the Mali Empire, whom the brand invokes as an emblem of wealth and generosity; “mansa” means king or ruler in Maninka. A dark berry-and-orris opening over an oud-rose-saffron heart, closing on mossy patchouli with a powdery heliotrope lift. A finalist at the 2023 Art and Olfaction Awards.
