Eau de Toilette from Versace, launched 2008. Perfumer: Alberto Morillas ? credited by Now Smell This’s launch coverage and by Basenotes; Versace itself credits no perfumer. For men. Versace publishes no family classification, describing it only as “a fresh and mineral-infused men’s cologne, crafted with Mediterranean notes”; Ulta and Now Smell This both classify it as an aromatic foug?re. A clean Mediterranean citrus-and-neroli opening moves into an aromatic geranium and clary sage heart lifted by green hyacinth, then dries down woody and mineral on oud and amber. Note: retailer and editorial listings (Ulta, Basenotes, Now Smell This) put cedar in the heart and add tonka bean and musk to the base; Versace’s own pyramid does neither, though its prose mentions “deep and sensual base notes of amber and musk.” The notes above follow Versace. This is the 2008 original in the pale blue square flacon ? the parent of Versace Pour Homme Oud Noir (2013) and Versace Pour Homme Dylan Blue (2016), which are separate entries.
