Eau de Parfum from Yves Saint Laurent, part of Le Vestiaire des Parfums (The Signature Collection). Perfumer: Master Perfumer Carlos Bena?m. Unisex. Inspired by the caban ? the sailor’s thick double-breasted wool pea coat, reinvented as couture and, in YSL Beauty’s own words, “the very first piece Yves Saint Laurent presented under his name, in 1962.” Built around tonka bean absolute with its almond, caramel, hay and tobacco facets, lifted by pink pepper. A bright peppery-elemi opening into a smoky, fruity osmanthus-incense heart, settling on a creamy tonka drydown with sandalwood and patchouli. YSL positions it as a scent of confidence and power, comfort and allure.
