Extrait de Parfum from Argos Fragrances, launched 2025. Perfumer: Christian Petrovich. Part of the Argos Artist Series VIII, inspired by Johann Michael Rottmayr’s Baroque fresco “Neptune Calms the Sea.” Unisex. It opens bright and aromatic ? sunlit citrus cut with lavender and a warm thread of cardamom ? then turns greener and more floral as geranium, green tea and jasmine sambac come forward. The drydown is where the ocean idea actually lives: labdanum and ambergris give a salted, resinous depth, grounded by vetiver and sandalwood with iris smoothing the edges. Argos positions it for spring and summer, with long wear and smooth, confident projection.
