Pure parfum/extrait from Electimuss London ? the brand’s own product-type wording; note that ZGO Perfumery sells the same 100 ml bottle as an Eau de Parfum, and other retailers call it Extrait de Parfum. Part of the Eternal Collection, Electimuss’s Rome- inspired range built on citruses, soft florals, warm woods and ambers. Perfumer not disclosed by the house. Unisex ? the brand calls it “a scent for all occasions and genders.” Named for Auster, the god of the south winds. Opens bright and clean, waxy lemon against herbal geranium, with star anise and clove adding a licorice- tinged spice twist. It turns earthier as it settles ? patchouli and cedar over a salty ambergris thread the brand likens to warm wind off the ocean, with musk and sandalwood smoothing the finish; ZGO notes a woody, faintly leathery undertone. Vegan and cruelty-free per the brand.
