Eau de Parfum from Liis, an independent American fragrance house made in California (2024). Perfumer: J?r?me Epinette. A genderless eau de parfum ? Liis’s own designation. Choux Choux is described by the house as “a whimsical, rich, and fluffy treat inspired by choux ? la cr?me pastry and chouchou, a term of endearment similar to ‘darling’,” a nod to co-founder Alissa’s French upbringing. A patisserie gourmand: bright citrus and fresh cream over vanilla and salted-caramel, settling into sandalwood, cocoa and mocha. Liis states its fragrances are cruelty-free, vegan and allergy-tested, formulated without preservatives, dyes, phthalates or sulfates, and made with organic sugarcane alcohol (the alcohol base the perfume is built on ? not a scent note).
