Extrait de Parfum from Mind Games, a chess-themed niche house; part of its Artisan Collection. Perfumer: Christelle Laprade of Symrise. Unisex. A woody-leathery-fruity. Juicy mango skin, pink pepper and tomato leaf open against a lavender, mango-flower and star- anise heart, finishing on suede-soft leather with patchouli, amber and oud. The perfumer’s stated starting point: “I envisioned the strong metallic armor of a knight brought to life.” The house frames it as a scent that turns vices, vulnerabilities and fragility into a source of transformation. Sold as a 100 ml with a 2 ml sample; also listed at Nordstrom as Blockade Silver Knight.
