Named for castling, the chess move the house describes as one that “turns defense into offense” by “switching the intent of the player.” Drydown: vanilla woods, skin musk, Vetiver Madagascar, Sandalwood East India. The house describes it as “a fragrance defined by its rare ability to eclipse expectations,” with bergamot and luminous florals floating above a solid composition of white woods and earthy musks; Neiman Marcus calls it “bright, elegant, and refined.” Sold in the Silver Rook bottle.
