Extrait de Parfum (25% concentration) from Pernoire, the Swiss niche house founded in 2020 by Nico Mannino and Robin D?nner and based in Basel. Launched 2021. Perfumer: Andreas Wilhelm. Part of the Anima Collection. Unisex. 50 ml. The brand names it for the “Vitias Depth,” which it describes as the deepest point in the ocean, as a metaphor for a deep bond between two souls; the composition is built around the idea of a first kiss at the beach, and the shell on the bottle signals its Mediterranean mood. Sparkling citrus freshness opening onto a peppery bite, then a soft iris-and-woods heart threaded with marine notes, resting on ambergris and white musk.
