A rivi?re, in Thameen’s words, is a necklace “comprised of identically sized gemstones or those that are seamlessly graduated… designed to embellish the neck with a simple elegance”; Harrods ties the fragrance specifically to Queen Mary’s rivi?re of 34 old-cut diamonds. Thameen calls it “well balanced and seductive,” a spicy-ambery composition that “opens with a piercing tone before settling on a bed of Turkish Rose complemented with woody and ambery accords.” Available in 50 ml and 100 ml, from $255.
