Alexandria is the original Oud Stars release named for the ancient Egyptian port city, and the perfume Xerjoff’s later Alexandria II was built alongside. Xerjoff describes the two together as “the two prestigious perfumes.” The Oud Stars collection is the house’s oud-centred line, its fragrances named for cities on the route of the traveller Ibn Battuta. This is the original Alexandria ? not Alexandria II, Alexandria III, Alexandria Orientale or Alexandria II Anniversary, all of which are separate perfumes with different compositions. It is no longer in production and is not distributed by Xerjoff or its authorized retailers; bottles in circulation are remaining stock. Xerjoff publishes no note breakdown, concentration, launch year or perfumer for this fragrance, and no authorized retailer lists it, so no scent pyramid is quoted here. STAFF NOTE: any apple, cinnamon, rose or oud note list attached to this name online belongs to one of the later Alexandria releases and does not describe this bottle. Do not quote notes for it.
