Essence de Parfum (30% pure perfume oils) from Amouage, launched October 2024. Perfumers: Julien Rasquinet and Paul Guerlain. Part of The Amouage Essences, the house’s aged-perfume line, launched alongside Reasons and Outlands and housed in the first new bottle design Amouage had introduced in fifteen years. Unisex. Amouage states a six-month ageing process including a double infusion with sandalwood chips and oak barrels. It opens on a bright cardamom spark, turns powdery and expensive through the orris, and settles into a long sandalwood-benzoin-vanilla warmth ? the extra oil load shows in how little you need.
