Pure parfum/extrait from Electimuss London ? the brand’s own term; US retailers list it as Eau de Parfum. Perfumer: Kevin Mathys. Part of the Consort Collection, which pairs contrasting fragrances built on the collaboration between light and depth, brightness and shadow. Unisex. Electimuss calls it a dark and mysterious patchouli: spices and black and pink peppers open over lighter citrus, with cistus giving an earthy, raw character; the heart is warm patchouli with forceful leather and spicy carnation; the base turns warm and animalic through the complexity of labdanum, the sweetness and spice of styrax, and resonant castoreum. Themed on Pluto ? both the darkness of the underworld and the opulence of the hidden treasures of his kingdom, the precious gems, minerals and glittering metals held deep within the earth. Created as a companion to Persephone’s Patchouli, its counterpart in the same collection, the two perfumers approaching the same patchouli note from opposite sides of the myth. Vegan and cruelty-free. Electimuss does not publish a launch year for this fragrance.
