Eau de Parfum from Louis Vuitton, launched April 2022. Created by Louis Vuitton Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud. Presented as unisex. Available in 100 ml and 200 ml, in a refillable bottle that Louis Vuitton will engrave at no charge. Louis Vuitton describes City of Stars as “a festive ode to Los Angeles by night, its excitement and extravagance, from star-studded boulevards to the constellations shimmering above the skyline,” and sums it up as “a celebration of LA’s magical lure, from dusk to dawn.” The house lists its key notes as blood orange, lemon, a tiare accord, sandalwood and musk, and describes the composition this way: “A citrus duo dazzles like a thousand flashbulbs: lemon and blood orange swirl and dance, gradually succumbing to the Tiare flower’s voluptuous embrace. Warmed by noble sandalwood, a dry down of powdery musk alludes to a passion that disperses only with the morning’s first rays.” At launch, Now Smell This reported a fuller citrus opening of lemon, blood orange, red mandarin, bergamot and lime.
