Marcus, corroborated by Luckyscent Eau de Parfum from Maison Francis Kurkdjian. Perfumer: Francis Kurkdjian, credited by the house. Unisex per the house, which classifies it floral, ambery and woody. MFK does not publish a conventional note pyramid for this fragrance ? it describes three auras instead: air, “breezy facets of jasmine flowers and the radiance of saffron”; mineral, “an accord evoking ambergris and dry woody tones”; and fire, “the addictive sensuality of ethyl maltol, a note with gourmand facets.” The signature materials the house names are Hedione for jasmine-like freshness, Ambroxan for amber and dry mineral facets, and saffron for its bitter, metallic, leathery edge. Rendered as a pyramid by Neiman Marcus: top jasmine and saffron, heart a mossy woody accord, base ethyl maltol and Ambroxan. The house says the fragrance “evokes the transparency and density of crystal.” Notes for staff: MFK publishes no launch year ? 2015 comes from Luckyscent. Luckyscent also lists a broader ingredient set (citrus, sage, oakmoss, cedar) that is retailer-written and does not match the house’s own; do not merge the two.
