The house describes it as: “Sedley combines the freshness of mint and citrus notes with the aromatic elegance of lavandin, resting on a woody sandalwood base. Fresh, vibrant and energizing.” Luckyscent calls it “a fragrance of unparalleled freshness and deceptive complexity? for those who know the power of confident subtlety.” Two sourcing notes for staff: CaFleureBon identifies the woody-musky base material as Firmenich’s Ambrox Super?, which it distinguishes from standard ambroxan. Selfridges’ listing carries an earlier version of the pyramid ? bergamot, spearmint, watery accord / geranium bourbon, lavender, sunny notes / sandalwood, white musk, Vulcain incense ? and attributes the aquatic effect to the Hivernal?
