Launched July 2013 (1 July in European travel retail, 2 July in France; US release 2014). Perfumers: V?ronique Nyberg, Anne Flipo, Olivier Polge and Dominique Ropion, all of IFF. For men. A woody aquatic. The brand’s own line: “marine accord and grapefruit collide with guaiac wood and ambergris for a high-impact fragrance of victory and lasting freshness.” Presented in Rabanne’s signature trophy-shaped bottle. The name is Latin for “unconquered” or “undefeated”; Puig framed the launch around “the fantasy of victory,” with victory wings on the packaging. Made in France. Invictus has grown into a family: Rabanne currently offers Invictus Aqua, Invictus Platinum, Invictus Victory, Invictus Victory Elixir and Invictus Parfum alongside the original Eau de Toilette ? confirm which bottle a customer means before quoting notes.
