Extrait de Parfum at 35% concentration from Spiritica, an Italian house (Spiritica SRL). Mangomacumba is the first release of the brand’s Oscurata Collection. Composed by perfumer Daniele Cerroni, who built the fragrance step by step to the conceptual brief of Spiritica founder Daniele Muratori Caputo. Inspired by the Macumba rituals of Rio de Janeiro ? Afro-Brazilian syncretic ceremonies that, contrary to Western misconception, are performed to invoke protection, health, prosperity and well-being. The brand describes the opening as extremely fresh, fruity, luminous and tropical, giving way to a “bloody and juicy” heart of ferrous accords and tropical flowers, then darkening into tobacco absolute, ebony oil and red earth with creamy lactonic warmth.
