Eau de Toilette from Versace, launched July 2016. For men. An aromatic fragrance with bold woody and citrus notes, built to capture the sensual scents of the Mediterranean; the launch campaign was shot by Bruce Weber with Trevor Signorino as its face alongside Gigi Hadid, and the house has since photographed the scent on a secluded island off the coast of Sardinia. A crisp aquatic-citrus opening, cool with grapefruit and green with fig leaf, gives way to a peppery violet-leaf and papyrus heart lifted by ambroxan’s salty diffusion. The drydown turns warm and faintly spiced ? musk and tonka threaded with saffron and frankincense. Confident and polished, recognizably “blue” but drier and more textured than the aquatics it sits beside. Offered in 50 ml, 100 ml and 200 ml.
