Extrait de Parfum from Loumari, composed by perfumer Christian Provenzano. Part of the house’s Terre et Mer collection. Unisex. 100 ml. Loumari sets the scene on Socotra: “On the forgotten shores of Socotra, where the sands dance with burning winds and emerald waters, AOMAK was born” ? an uncharted, almost spectral island, and a perfume “like a mirage: fleeting, elusive.” In wear it is citrusy and aromatic: a bitter-orange and mandarin opening cooled by mint and a mojito accord, through a neroli, jasmine and rose heart, into a woody, mossy, ambery drydown. Jovoy Paris rates its intensity high and its trail extravagant, and calls it a year- round, day-or-night wear.
