Description

ZGO Perfumery (authorized) both list Parfum from Orto Parisi, released in 2014. Created by Alessandro Gualtieri, who also founded Nasomatto. Made in Italy. The name is Latin for “green.” Orto Parisi does not publish a note breakdown for Viride, and the house does not assign a gender to the line. Any “top/heart/base” pyramid circulating online is unofficial ? we do not quote one. The house’s own description reads in full: “A robust green character. A character of Yemeni man, who wears his traditional floral crown. Viride represents a garden that has been planted, fertilized, and cultivated. From the deepest and strongest roots of herbal plants, the only way is up now.” The bottle carries a tumbled gold cap set with guaiacum from Ecuador ? a dense, strong, oily timber used on sailing boats, which turns greenish in wet and humid conditions. Luckyscent, an authorized retailer, describes it as “intense but cool, fusing together with potent, sharp woods.” That is retailer copy, not a note list.
