Recuerdos ? a room and body fragrance spray created by Kevin Elkins of Soular Therapy with the creative team of Hotel Emma at the Pearl in San Antonio, and sold only through the hotel’s Curio shop. Unisex, and usable as a cologne, room mist or linen spray. The hotel describes it as rich, smoky and evocative of sun-warmed South Texas stone and wood, fit for autumn and winter; it is the cool-weather counterpart to the hotel’s spring/summer scent, Milagros. Elkins built the Hotel Emma scents from the old brewery’s materials ? his brief to himself was “concrete, velvet, steel, books, old wood.” A genuine local exclusive rather than a retail release: there is no published note pyramid, launch year or concentration for it.
