A bright citrus opening over peppery aromatic spice, drying down to the ambery nobleness of ambroxan, resinous elemi and woods. Dior’s bestselling men’s fragrance, fronted by Johnny Depp since launch. Dior says Demachy revisited the house’s 1966 Eau Sauvage and set out to make it more contemporary, strong and unmistakably masculine. The Sauvage family has since grown: Sauvage Very Cool Spray (Eau de Toilette, 2017), Sauvage Eau de Parfum (Calabrian bergamot, patchouli and Papua New Guinean vanilla), Sauvage Parfum, Sauvage Elixir (2021), Sauvage Eau Forte (2024, Dior’s first alcohol-free Sauvage, by Francis Kurkdjian) and Sauvage Extrait.
