Eau de Parfum from Goldfield & Banks, the Australian house created by Dimitri Weber, launched 2016 and built at a 20% concentration of essences and botanicals. Perfumer: Fran?ois Merle-Baudoin; creative direction by Dimitri Weber. Part of the Native Collection, the line drawn from ingredients unique to Australia, and inspired by the country’s Central Highlands. Unisex. The house files it as a spicy amber and describes it as liquorous and gourmand ? the scent of arid forest and sun-warmed resin. Australian desert rosewood and buddha wood do the structural work, warmed by Comoros vanilla and Laotian benzoin, with Sicilian mandarin and Indian cardamom lifting the opening and Indonesian patchouli deepening the base. Dry, resinous and quietly sweet rather than loud.
