The house pitches it as born of the vine ? the duality of wine and life, a blend of “white and red, cool metal and warm oak, and the heart of red berries.” The wine-lees opening gives it a genuinely metallic, cellar-cold edge that most fruity-woody scents never attempt, and the oak barrel base keeps the cherry and raspberry dry rather than jammy.
